According to Mediate, former President Donald Trump has made a demand for the Republican Party to take an unprecedented step by removing President Joe Biden from office through the invocation of the 25th Amendment.

This call came in response to a recent deal struck between the Biden administration and Iran, which involves the exchange of five Americans for five Iranians and the unfreezing of $6 billion in Iranian assets.

Trump took to social media to express his discontent, characterizing the Iran deal as “absolutely ridiculous” and asserting that it sets a detrimental precedent for future negotiations. He went on to criticize the perceived decline in the global reputation of the United States during the Biden administration, stating that the country has become a “laughingstock all over the WORLD.”

Trump concluded his initial post with his trademark campaign slogan, “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” and encouraged people to “VOTE TRUMP!!!”In a subsequent post, Trump highlighted his past efforts in securing the release of hostages from various countries without paying any ransom.

He argued that paying ransoms incentivizes the taking of more hostages and criticized President Biden for giving $6 billion in exchange for the release of five individuals, contrasting it with Iran, which gave nothing for the release of five prisoners. Trump questioned Biden’s competence and intelligence, referring to him as “Dumb as a ROCK.”

Trump then directed his frustration towards the Republican Party, expressing bewilderment that they had not initiated the process of invoking the 25th Amendment against President Biden. He listed a series of grievances, including issues such as Afghanistan, inflation, energy independence, border security, lack of voter ID requirements, and the Iran deal.

Trump characterized Biden as the “WORST & MOST INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES” and questioned why the Republican Party had not acted based on these perceived shortcomings.

It’s important to note that invoking the 25th Amendment requires a majority of the president’s own cabinet to vote in favor of transferring presidential authority to the vice president. It is not an action that can be initiated solely by the Republican Party or the House of Representatives, which is currently controlled by the GOP. The demand from Trump reflects his strong disapproval of the Biden administration’s policies and actions.
