The events of January 6th, 2021, will forever be etched in the minds of Americans.

The day when supporters of former President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol building, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake as reported by Wall Street Apes on X on Friday, September 22.

The media narrative that has been pushed since that day is that it was an insurrection, a violent attempt to overthrow the government.

However, new revelations from the former Capitol Police Chief, Steven Sund, suggest that everything we were told about January 6th has been a lie.

Steven Sund revealed that the National Guard was restricted from assisting his officers in advance of January 6th in a recent interview. This is despite the fact that the Pentagon was sending resources to protect the homes of generals.

The National Guard, who were only two miles away from the Capitol building, sat and waited for the evening crew to come in. Meanwhile, the Capitol Police were left to fend for themselves against a violent mob.

Sund also revealed that he was not given approval to bring in the National Guard until 2:09 p.m., over an hour after he originally requested their assistance.

This delay was due to the fact that the then-Sergeant-at-Arms, Paul Irving, was concerned about the “optics” of having the National Guard present at the Capitol building.

This decision left the Capitol Police outnumbered and overwhelmed, leading to the chaos that ensued.

The media narrative that has been pushed since January 6th is that it was an insurrection, a violent attempt to overthrow the government.

However, the reality is that the Capitol Police were left to fend for themselves against a violent mob, while the National Guard was restricted from assisting them.

The delay in bringing in the National Guard was due to concerns about the “optics” of having them present, rather than a lack of concern for the safety of the Capitol Police.

The events of January 6th were undoubtedly a dark day in American history. However, the truth about what happened that day is slowly coming to light.

The media narrative that has been pushed since that day has been one of an insurrection, a violent attempt to overthrow the government.
