Meghan Markle risks King Charles’ wrath for posing ‘threat’ to monarchy

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, finds herself under scrutiny yet again as she ventures into the commercial arena with her latest project, American Riviera Orchard, a lifestyle brand promising a focus on beauty, health, and home.

Amidst the anticipation surrounding her new endeavor, concerns have been raised about the potential exploitation of her royal title for personal gain.

Renowned royal expert Tom Quinn has issued a cautionary note, suggesting that Meghan should tread carefully to avoid invoking the ire of the royal family.

In an interview with The Mirror, Quinn hinted at the repercussions Meghan might face if she is perceived as leveraging her status within the monarchy to promote her brand and its products.

“Meghan is treading a very dangerous path by setting up a new commercial project – each time she ramps up the commercial side of her life in the States, she risks losing her Royal title,” he claimed.

“For now, the senior royals in the UK are watching and waiting – they don’t want to act too precipitately in case they are accused of being vindictive. But when things calm down, a decision will be taken that Meghan may not like,” Quinn explained.

“It is seen as a potential threat to the very existence of the monarchy and threats like this always bring out the ruthless side of the ‘the Firm’,” he added.

The controversy surrounding Meghan and Prince Harry’s ventures into the business world has been a point of contention among royal watchers.

Earlier this year, the couple launched a website under the label ‘Sussex’, stirring up considerable debate. Furthermore, reports emerged suggesting that they had changed the surname of their children, Archie and Lilibet, to Sussex, presumably in a bid to consolidate the family unit under a single brand identity.

Critics have been quick to point out the implications of the Sussexes’ actions in light of their agreement with the late Queen Elizabeth II.

This agreement, made prior to Her Majesty’s passing, explicitly restricted the couple from using their royal titles in their day-to-day endeavors.

The perceived flouting of this agreement has raised concerns about the potential repercussions, both for Meghan and Prince Harry, as well as for the institution of the monarchy itself.

Tom Quinn’s warnings echo sentiments shared by many within royal circles, who view Meghan’s commercial pursuits as a potential threat to the integrity of the monarchy.

The suggestion that the royal family, often referred to as ‘the Firm’, may respond ruthlessly to such perceived threats underscores the gravity of the situation.

As Meghan Markle navigates the complexities of her dual identity as a former senior royal and a burgeoning entrepreneur, the stakes remain high.

The balancing act between personal ambitions and royal obligations is fraught with challenges, and the consequences of missteps in this delicate dance could reverberate far beyond the confines of the Sussex household.

In the ever-evolving saga of Meghan and Harry’s post-royal lives, the specter of royal scrutiny looms large, casting a shadow over their every move.
