I don’t care if he loses or gains weight. All I want is for every American to understand that a convicted sex offending fraud facing 91 criminal charges is NOT fit to be President of the United States. It’s way past time to cut the cord with Donald Trump.
Kilmeade initiated the discussion by complimenting Trump’s jet and inquiring about its features. Trump acknowledged the jet’s improvement but expressed nostalgia for Air Force One. When asked about his weight loss, Trump attributed it to his busy schedule, stating, “The hard way. I work. I’ve been so busy. I haven’t been able to eat very much. I’m unable to sit down and eat like a person like you — you can sit down and eat. For me, it’s a little bit tougher,” to which Kilmeade added, “Because you’re always moving.”
Despite the weight loss revelation, Kilmeade did not delve into Trump’s recent criticism of Fox News. On Truth Social, Trump had expressed dissatisfaction with the network’s perceived one-sidedness and a shift away from its past alignment with his views.
Donald Trump tells Fox News that he recently lost 15-20 pounds because he’s working hard: “I’ve been so busy. I haven’t been able to eat very much. I’m not able to sit and eat.” 🤡🤦♂️ pic.twitter.com/7NSBRIGrOS
Earlier reports in January suggested that Melania Trump played a role in her husband’s weight loss by encouraging healthier eating habits. Sources claimed Trump had shed at least 30 pounds by avoiding the Mar-a-Lago buffet at his Florida club and opting for a healthier diet. The insider noted changes in Trump’s eating habits, including refraining from indulging in desserts like ice cream sundaes and chocolate cake.
The news of Trump’s weight loss follows his reported weight of 215 pounds when he turned himself in to Georgia police in August 2023, amid allegations related to the state’s 2020 election results. This marked a 25-pound reduction from his reported weight in April of the same year. Trump, in another instance, acknowledged the need to “lose some weight” after seeing a sketch of himself in court during one of his cases.
